Elements of sentence

Subject (S)
Before we start talking in Indonesian, we must know the rules how to make a good sentence, surely by putting elements of sentence.
Examples: Budi, Elephants, Orchids, School and others.
  1. Saya (I), Singular
  2. Kamu (You), Singular
  3. We (Kita), Plural
  4. They (Mereka), Plural
  5. You (Kalian), plural
  6. It (Itu)

Predicate (P)
The meaning of predicate.

Predicate is a sentence element that states the activity being performed by the subject. Predicate is usually a verb.

For examples; cooking, fishing, reading, writing and others.

Let's make the simple sentences in progress or present, yet we have to know the present formula.

I am (Saya adalah) singular

You are (Kamu adalah) singular

We are (Kita /Kami adalah) plural

You are (kalian adalah) plural, for plural is Kalian /not Kamu. OK!)

He is (Dia adalah) Male /masculine

She is (Dia adalah) Female /Feminine

so, it is all about A D A L A H if we are talking about the present in progress
