How to learn Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian language), and if you don't know how to start it, some methods I've collected and it'll make you easier to master it. And you should know that learning a language isn't easy as we thought. We need consistency, trick, and the reason why we should learning a language. For me, learning a language is a fun, but sometimes i had no any motivations to continue it or studying regularly.
On below, I'll write 5 steps how to start it (I've done it, when i learned English and Spanish).
1. Before you start it, make sure that you are really interested in learning Indonesian. Some reasons why I learn a new language, because I love cultures, i want to visit that country, by learning a new language it develops my mind, it's fun, and you will meet the native speaker of that language.
2. Be unique and know your style. This is the single and the most important thing you need to know when starting a new language. Everyone learns differently, especially when it comes to language. You need to figure out if you learn the best through repetition, through writing down or through listening to native speaker (by watching movies, listening to songs, talking to the native, or watching youtube). You need to decide whether you are a visual, auditory or kinesthetic learner. here.
3. Stick to know the alphabets in Indonesian, and how to pronounce it, especially the vowels. e.g., A (pronounced 'a', father), E (pronounced 'e', check), I (pronounced 'i', see), O (pronounced 'o', olive), U (pronounced 'u', put).
4. Learn the simplest things first. As a tourist you must know some basics and phrases, e.g. ;
- Thanks - terimakasih
- Maaf - sorry
- Hello - hi
- Excuse me - permisi
- My name is - nama saya adalah
- I come from - saya berasal dari

Those are some phrases that you can use to start a conversation. And don't forget to know the subjects in Indonesian, e.g., I (saya), You (kamu), He /she (dia), We (kita), They (Mereka).
5. Practise every day. Reading. listening. writing and Speaking.
Other tips:
