The reasons I think you should blog

Feel your paper with the breathings of your heart - William wordsworth
Over the course of my life, I've embraced a number of different hobbies; singing, teaching, working harder, talking a lot, gambling, badminton, just to name a few. But, none of them have changed my life or brought as much satisfaction as blogging. In many ways to count, it has changed me and the way i live my life. Many times i do blogging and this blog is probably the fiftieth. (the other blogs I've removed and even i forgot the account.

In fact, so much so, it has become a hobby i regularly recommended to others. I started blogging as a personal tool to share about computer hardware and software. But, somewhere along the line, it became less about me writing the story and more about the story changing my life, .... That's Normal.

And while there are many articles written about why you should blog to grow your business or become an expert or make a whole bunch of money, - the best recommendations are still found in the personal realization that blogging will change you, Paul the writer

9 thoughts on how Blogging impacts Life (so far, my experiences)

  • You'll become a better writer. At its core, writing is communication. It's about recording thoughts on paper and compelling others to agree with them (just like other form of communication it improves with practice. Blogging will not force you to become a better writer, it'll just happen as you do it. And becoming a good writer holds important benefits for the rest of your life - whether you are creating a book, a resume, a presentation or an anniversary cards for your spouse or parents.
  • You'll become a better thinker. Because the process of blogging or writing included recording thoughts on paper, the blogging encourages you to stop and think deeper. (also when i started learning English, I did it). You'll delve deeper into the matter of your life or something indicated to your post and the worldview that shapes them. Unfortunately, at this point, many will choose not to blog (or write at all) based on the faulty reasoning that they have "nothing to say". But, to that line of thinking i always respond the same way, maybe you just haven't discovered yet what you have to say.
  • You'll inspire others. blogging not only changes your life, it also changes the life of the reader. And because blogs are free for the audience and open to the public, on many level, it is an act of giving.
  • You'll become more well-rounded in your mindset. After all, blogging is an exercise between give and take (exercise in give-and-take). As the blog's writer, you introduce a topic that you feel significant and meaningful.
  • It's free. Your blog can begin now without spending a single penny now. I'm using Blogger and  highly recommend it.
  • You'll become more confident. Blogging will help you discover more confidence in your life. You'll quickly realize that you do live an important life with an unique view and have something to offer others.
  • You'll make some money. You don't need to make money to enjoy blogging. In fact, sometimes making money from your blog can actually to distract you from the joy that you found in the first place. That being said, whether you make $20 (around Rp. 230.000,00) /year 0r $50 (around Rp. 650.000,00) /year, it's still pretty nice to have a hobby that actually pays you back
  • You'll meet new people. Whether it be through comments, e-mails, or social media, you may be surprised at how quickly you meet people online. The blogging community is friendly, encouraging, and genuinely cheering for you to succeed
  • It'll lead to healthier life habits. Blogging requires times, devotion, commitment and discipline.
Remember, you don't need to blog as a means to get rich or as a means to get a huge following, ... The change that a blog will cause in your life is reason enough.

If you have more the impact of blogging in your life, please share and write on below.

Note; I'm originally Indonesian. Sorry, if you find errors (in writing). I'm still learning, but i want to share.
